Quotecrack ("the app") is a cryptogram word-puzzle game published by an independent developer ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why. The short version: the game itself works fully offline, requires no account, and we never see your gameplay data.
Your puzzle progress, statistics, streaks, settings, and hint balance are stored locally on your device. They are never transmitted to us and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process data described in Google's partner sites policy, including your device's Advertising ID, IP address, coarse location derived from IP, and ad-interaction data (for ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and — where you consent — personalization).
To improve ad quality, ads may also be served through AdMob mediation by these partner networks, each processing similar data under its own policy: AppLovin, Unity Ads and Pangle.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland the app shows a consent dialog (Google UMP, IAB TCF v2) before any ad is loaded; your choices there apply to the mediation partners as well. You can change your choice at any time via Settings → Privacy options in the app. You can also reset your device Advertising ID or opt out of personalization in Android settings.
The optional one-time Premium purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive your name, address, or payment details — only an anonymous confirmation that the purchase is owned, stored on your device. Premium also removes all advertising (and with it, all AdMob data processing).
The optional daily reminder is scheduled locally on your device. No data leaves your device for it, and you can disable it in the app or in system settings at any time.
The app is not directed at children under 13. Ads are configured as non-child-directed. If you believe a child has provided data through the ad network, please contact us.
All app data lives on your device: uninstalling the app deletes it. Ad consent choices can be withdrawn in-app. For AdMob data subject requests, see Google's privacy policy.
We will update this page if the app's data practices change and note the date above.
